FOLEY, Ala. — Three arrests were reported Thursday by the Foley Police Department, in connection with a recent rash of robberies and burglaries in the Foley area.
On March 15, Christina Shelby(40 years of age) drove Larry Shoots to the Approved Cash Advance (South end location) and dropped him off at which time the location was Burglarized. The Foley Police Department received surveillance video from an adjoining business that showed a vehicle dropping off someone. The vehicle was identified by a Foley Police Officer. When the vehicle was identified this led to the identification of Larry Shoots as the offender.
Larry Shoots was one of the suspects in the robberies. The investigation led to a search warrant of Larry Shoot's residence where evidence of the robberies was recovered.
On March 20, the Foley Police Department arrested Larry Shoots (52 years of age) and charged him with the burglary of the Approved Cash Advance (North end location), Robbery of the Dollar General (North end location), Robbery of the Dollar General (South end location), robbery of the Approved Cash Advance (South end location), theft of ATM machine from Gelato Joe's and theft of ATM machine from Glen Lakes Golf Course.
In addition to the arrest of Shoots and Shelby, James Nolan has been arrested and charged with a 2nd degree robbery count for the Approved Cash Advance (South end location) theft, robbery 2nd degree for the Dollar General (South end location), burglary of the Glen Lakes Golf Course and theft of ATM machine from Gelato Joe's.
The cases remain under investigation at this time.
