If you spend much time in the South, then you realize very quickly that athletics and all things athletic make up a significant portion of our culture – from youth sports leagues to professional leagues.

Everyone has their favorite team(s), and they are passionate about cheering their teams on to victory. I, too, love sports and am partial to certain athletic teams. I have even been accused of acting a bit “crazy” at times as I cheer on my team of choice – the Longhorns.
